Last month a couple of our ICD stalwarts moved on to bigger and better times.
Darlene Govenettio, the coordinator at our USW/Sumitomo-Buffalo program, decided to make a career change. Darlene worked as the coordinator for more than a decade. Even though we will miss her, we also wish her great success at her new career challenge. Thanks again Darlene for your dedication to ICD, your new employer is lucky to have you.
Also, Mark Langbehn, an Advisory Board member and the management ICD co-chair for ArcelorMittal, decided to hang it up and move into retirement. Mark was a big supporter of ICD and will be missed. It was Mark’s idea to start an educational week for ICD and he was able to see that become a reality with the inaugural Learning Opportunities Week. Good luck Mark and enjoy your deserved retirement.
