Dylan Gary
Son of Danielle Gary, USW Local 6787, Cleveland Cliffs-Burns Harbor

Why I’m proud to be the son of a Steelworker: “My mother made sure I understood the importance of being a union worker and knowing labor rights and history. I remember my sister and me going to Women Of Steel meetings at the union hall after school. We also canvassed during election time for candidates and being in parades on the 4th of July. It all showed the importance and understanding of sacrificing your time for the labor movement as I got older.”
