Leon Lynch Golf Outing

The USW/ArcelorMittal-Leon Lynch Learning Center and USW Local 1011 recently held its Inaugural John W. Hartman and Leon Lynch Learning Center Golf Outing at Summertree Golf Club in Crown Point, IN.

The event has been an annual affair for the past few years but was renamed this year to honor former ICD Coordinator John Hartman, a friend to many of us, who passed away last year after a courageous fight with cancer.

John was an avid supporter of the Tino Fulimeni Scholarship. In fact, this golf outing was John's idea many years ago as a way to raise funds for the scholarship.

A field of approximately 70 golfers participated in the event. When we have the total amount of funds raised, we will pass that along.
